One transformation, one chance to film it

Mimi is an SFX makeup artist working across film and video productions. We created a portfolio film following a full zombie transformation, from the first stages of makeup through to the final character reveal.

Each stage could only happen once. As the makeup built up, we couldn’t go back to an earlier look, so the shot order and timing had to follow the process closely.

We planned the lighting and setups around each stage, making sure we captured the details along the way while still building toward the final reveal.
